Thermostatic, concealed or mixer: what we look at
In second homes in areas such as Capaspre and Les Roques, cartridges stick and washers dry out after months of disuse. When we change the taps we give each one its own isolating valve, so every outlet can be shut off separately.
For concealed taps in bathrooms in areas such as Dalt de Calella, Sant Quirze and Valldengulí, we set the valve body at the depth the tile thickness requires and pressure-test before closing the wall. We open only the area needed and replace the tiles.
