From hood to duct: how we fit it
In holiday flats in areas such as Capaspre and Les Roques, the kitchen stays shut for months and moisture condenses inside the duct. We suggest a sealed non-return damper, a duct with a slight fall to the outside and filters that are easy to change when you return.
The duct decides how well the hood extracts: in areas such as Dalt de Calella, Sant Quirze and Valldengulí we use rigid duct matching the motor outlet, with as few bends as possible and joints sealed with aluminium tape. That cuts noise and stops grease building up.
