What we check on a wall before replastering
Second homes in areas such as Capaspre and Les Roques are often closed for much of the year, and we find walls with salt deposits, stains and crumbling plaster near the floor. We treat those areas before plastering and let the background dry out properly.
To get a wall plumb, in flats and houses in areas such as Dalt de Calella, Sant Quirze and Valldengulí we fix screeds at regular intervals and angle beads on the arrises. Plaster is laid between the screeds and ruled off, so corners and wall-to-ceiling junctions come out straight.
