What we look at before the first tile goes down
In houses on estates and in areas such as Can Segarra, Sant Sebastià and Domènec the floor often continues out to the porch or pool. There we use an outdoor anti-slip tile laid to a proper fall so water drains away, with movement joints to cope with the heat of the sun.
With large formats, increasingly requested in areas such as Agell de Dalt, Agell de Baix and Pla de l'Avellà, adhesive goes on both the floor and the back of the tile, and we use levelling clips. That leaves no voids underneath and no lipping between neighbouring tiles.
The site manager schedules removal, levelling and tiling room by room, and we leave the floor free of cement and dust. You will also find us nearby: Argentona, Cabrils and Vilassar de Mar.

Frequently asked questions
01Porcelain floor tiling in Cabrera de Mar: which areas do you cover?
We work in Cabrera de Mar in areas such as Can Segarra, Sant Sebastià, Domènec, La Creueta, Sant Joan d'Amunt, Santa Marta, Agell de Dalt and Agell de Baix, and also nearby: Argentona, Cabrils and Vilassar de Mar.
02Can porcelain go over the old floor?
Often, yes, if the current floor is solid and flat. Door heights and thresholds with other rooms need checking, and we look at both during the visit.
03What does large-format porcelain need?
A very flat base, double-spread adhesive and levelling clips. Big tiles mean fewer joints, but the setting out and cutting have to be more precise.
04Can the same tile run from the living room to the terrace?
Only if the range has an outdoor non-slip version with the slip rating the CTE requires. Many collections offer both, so the floor can flow outside.
