Pocket or exposed track: how we choose
In houses on residential estates in areas such as Can Segarra, Sant Sebastià and Domènec, walls are usually block or thicker brick. To fit a pocket door we open the wall, install the right lintel and the frame, and close it with plasterboard or render as needed.
For bathrooms and bedrooms in areas such as Agell de Dalt, Agell de Baix and Pla de l'Avellà we fit a privacy lock with outside release, flush pulls and brush seals on the edges. The slider then closes discreetly and cuts more noise from the hallway.
