From landing to street: made-to-measure doors in the area
In areas such as Nucli antic, Les Arenes and Mas d'en Pinc, there are many second homes left empty for long stretches, and the front door is their main defence. We fit multi-point locking, an anti-bump cylinder and a security escutcheon, plus a digital viewer or electronic lock if you wish.
For front doors in areas such as Sa Riera, Aiguafreda and Sa Tuna, we explain how a security door differs from an armoured one and what each needs from the wall: a steel leaf needs longer anchors and solid masonry. If the wall is weak, we reinforce it before hanging the door.
We visit your home, measure the opening and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates manufacture and fitting. We also work in nearby areas: Palafrugell, Pals and Regencós.

Frequently asked questions
01Front door installation in Begur: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Begur, in areas such as Nucli antic, Les Arenes, Mas d'en Pinc, Esclanyà, Sa Riera, Aiguafreda, Sa Tuna and Aiguablava, and also nearby: Palafrugell, Pals and Regencós. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02What is the difference between a security door and an armoured door?
A security door is timber with a steel sheet inside; an armoured door has a steel leaf and frame. The latter is far tougher, but heavier, and needs stronger fixing.
03Can the new door match the rest of the landing?
Yes. The outer face can be ordered in the same finish as the other doors in the building, and the inner face to suit your home.
04Can my current door be reinforced instead?
Sometimes, with a multi-point lock, security cylinder and escutcheon. If the leaf or frame is weak, replacing the whole door is the sensible option.
