Pocket or exposed track: how we choose
In seaside flats rooms are compact and every metre counts. A sliding door between bedroom and bathroom or on a dressing room frees up space; we choose tracks and runners protected against damp and salt air (above all in Nucli antic, Les Arenes and Mas d'en Pinc).
We fit exposed sliders on a track fixed to the wall with plugs suited to the substrate, and make sure the leaf overlaps the opening on both sides so no light shows. Stops and soft-close are adjusted last, with the leaf hung.
