From flat roof to pitched roof: where each anchor goes
Near the sea, salty air attacks ordinary steel. We use marine-grade stainless steel cable, posts and fixings, and check any existing anchors, which we often find rusted (more so in Nucli antic, Les Arenes and Mas d'en Pinc).
We agree with the property manager or owners who will use the line and how many people at once. That sets the spans, intermediate posts and energy absorber, and we leave a plate at the access point with the user instructions.
On the visit we go up on the roof, explain the proposed route and prepare a detailed written quote. When we finish we clear away offcuts and packaging. We also work in nearby areas: Palafrugell, Pals and Regencós.

Frequently asked questions
01Lifeline and anchor installation in Begur: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Begur, in areas such as Nucli antic, Les Arenes, Mas d'en Pinc, Esclanyà, Sa Riera, Aiguafreda, Sa Tuna and Aiguablava, and also nearby: Palafrugell, Pals and Regencós. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02What is the difference between a lifeline and a single anchor?
A lifeline is a continuous cable that lets you move across the roof without unclipping. A single anchor is a fixed point to attach to in one specific spot, as in façade work.
03Does a lifeline need inspecting after installation?
Yes. Manufacturers call for periodic inspection, usually once a year, and always after a fall. We can take care of those inspections.
04Can it be fitted on a tiled or metal roof?
Yes. We use posts and fixings designed for each roof type, whether flat, tiled, metal sheet or sandwich panel, and seal every penetration to keep water out.
