Split units in flats and houses: what we consider locally
Near the sea, in areas such as Nucli antic, Les Arenes and Mas d'en Pinc, salty air corrodes outdoor units and their brackets. We recommend units with an anti-corrosion coating on the outdoor coil, stainless steel fixings and a position sheltered from the direct sea wind.
For installations in areas such as Sa Riera, Aiguafreda and Sa Tuna, the refrigerant line is insulated copper and every joint is flared on site. Once it is connected, we pull a vacuum with a pump and gauge and check it holds steady before letting the gas through.
We visit, give you a detailed written quote, and a site manager coordinates the installation, which we leave clean and running. We also work in nearby areas: Palafrugell, Pals and Regencós.

Frequently asked questions
01Split air conditioning installation in Begur: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Begur, in areas such as Nucli antic, Les Arenes, Mas d'en Pinc, Esclanyà, Sa Riera, Aiguafreda, Sa Tuna and Aiguablava, and also nearby: Palafrugell, Pals and Regencós. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Where does the outdoor unit go?
On a balcony, terrace, courtyard or roof, always with access for maintenance. If it has to go on the façade, it is worth checking the community of owners' rules first.
03Can the pipes be hidden?
Yes. If there is building work, we chase them into the wall; if not, we use paintable trunking in the wall colour. At the visit we look for the shortest route.
04What size unit does my living room need?
It depends on floor area, orientation, windows and ceiling height. We work it out at the visit so the unit is neither undersized nor overworked.
