What we check before cutting off a home's water
In apartment buildings in areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta, shutting off the riser affects other flats, so we give notice and keep the shut-off as short as possible. Chasing and noisy work fit the hours set by the community.
In flats in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni we choose the route that means the least disruption: through the hallway false ceiling, under the floor if it is being replaced, or in short chases. Every pipe is kept apart from the electrics.
