What each crack tells us before we repair it
In light wells and party walls in areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta render cracks go unnoticed until damp shows up in a neighbour's flat. We work on rope access and protect windows, washing lines and air-conditioning units before opening up.

02Are all façade cracks serious?

03Why is filling the crack not enough?
If the crack is not opened up and sealed with a flexible material, movement in the wall makes it show again. That is why we rake it out, clean it and add mesh where cracks keep recurring.
04Will the repair be visible?
We match the texture of the render as closely as we can, but new colour almost always stands out. That is why we usually recommend repainting the whole section afterwards.
