What changes with a new waste system
In areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta many flats have been through several refurbishments, each connecting the waste pipes its own way: runs with no fall, forced bends, joints sealed with putty. Before opening up we map the real system and, if the fall is not enough, consider raising the floor.
In areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni we remove the drum trap and lead and fit PVC waste pipe with solvent-welded joints and clips that hold it without vibration. Every fixture gets its own trap, so one blockage no longer affects the whole bathroom.
We open up only what is necessary, take out the lead and rubble with the home protected, and leave the system tested and clean, ready for flooring. We renew waste systems nearby as well: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

03Can I move the toilet or shower?
Yes, as long as there is enough fall to the soil stack. On the visit we measure the route and tell you which layout will work.
04How is this different from replacing drains?
Replacing a drain covers one specific fixture. Renewing the drainage replaces the whole internal system, from every fixture to the stack or manhole.
