Wash, cut and colour: how we lay out the salon
In areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta many salons are narrow and deep, with a small frontage and daylight only at the entrance. We put reception and stations near the window, move washing and storage to the back and boost the lighting where the sun doesn't reach.
In areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni we fit a board with separate circuits for the stations, the wash area, lighting and air conditioning, in line with the REBT. Each station has several sockets to hand for dryer, straighteners and clippers, with no extension leads or cables on the floor.
