Hallway renovation in Barcelona.
We re-plan hallways in Barcelona to win back space: shortening them where they are too long, adding storage wherever there is room and lighting them end to end.

How we approach a long, dark hallway
In areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta doors, cupboard panels and flooring have to go up narrow stairs, and the residents' association sets the working hours. We keep demolition within those hours and protect the entrance, landing and lift.
For hallways in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni we fill alcoves and end walls with shallow made-to-measure cupboards for linen or cleaning gear, without narrowing the passage.
A site manager coordinates builder, electrician, joiner and painter; we protect floors and furniture in the rest of the home and leave everything clean. We also work in the surrounding areas: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Hallway renovation in Barcelona: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Barcelona, in areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic, La Barceloneta, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera, La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni, and also nearby: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat and Sant Cugat del Vallès. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02How do you bring light into a windowless hallway?
With glazed doors or glass fanlights that borrow light from the rooms, pale walls, and spotlights or LED lines along its length.
03Can the hallway be reduced to enlarge the rooms?
Yes, where the partitions are not load-bearing. We study the layout and the route of the services, and show you how much space you gain before we start.
04Are sliding doors a good idea in a hallway?
They save space in narrow corridors. Pocket doors slide into the partition and leave the wall clear; surface-mounted ones need a stretch of free wall beside them.
