What we check before changing fronts and worktop
In areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta a partial renovation suits the community of owners' rules: there is little demolition and almost everything goes up in manageable pieces. The worktop is cut to size and, if the lift is small, we split it with a discreet joint.
For worktops in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni we remove the old one without damaging the units, level the base units and make a template. The sink can be undermounted or flush-fitted, and the tap is connected with new flexible hoses.

Often, yes, if the old tiles are firmly bonded. You lose very little depth and avoid chiselling, with less dust and less rubble.
