How we make a bedroom quieter
In flats in areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta bedroom work happens with neighbours and family on the other side of the wall. We protect the stairs and corridor, clear up every day and work within the hours set by the owners' association.
For bedroom floors in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni we usually suggest wood or laminate over an underlay that deadens footsteps. We trim the doors if needed and finish with matching skirting boards.

It depends on the size and shape of the room. A fitted wardrobe uses awkward recesses and keeps dust out; a walk-in closet needs more space but is easier to organise. We show you both options on the plan.
