Cornices, light wells and roofs: pigeon proofing in the area
In areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta, the residents' association usually decides at a meeting which areas to protect. We work on ropes from the roof, with no scaffolding, tell neighbours which balconies we will reach and keep to the building's working hours.
For spikes in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni, we measure the width of each cornice or ledge and choose strips with one, two or three rows. We bond or screw them according to the material, so there is no gap left where a pigeon could land again.

04Can they be seen from the street?
