From waste pipe to tap: sanitaryware fitted properly
In areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta, many homes still have old stopcocks that no longer shut off properly. Before removing anything we turn off the water to the flat and, while we are at it, fit new angle valves to each unit.
For wall-hung basins in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni, we check what lies behind the tiles: solid brick, hollow partition or plasterboard. Depending on the wall we use chemical anchors, a frame or a timber pattress, so the basin stays firm with daily use.
