In flats in areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta, the long, dark hallway with one switch at the far end is a classic. We add wall lights or downlights and two-way or intermediate switching so you can switch on from every door, using the existing junction boxes.
For two-way and intermediate switching in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni, we place each switch around how you move through the home: the entrance, the end of the hallway, beside the bed. We use deep back boxes so the cables fit without straining the terminals.
