Before adding a socket: what we check
Areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta have many flats with thick load-bearing walls and original skirting or mouldings. We avoid deep chases in load-bearing walls: we find a nearby partition for the box or run the cable in trunking that respects the finishes.
In areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni, when a room already has many sockets on one circuit, we do not spur off it: we run a new circuit from the consumer unit with its own breaker. Washing machine, oven and dryer always get a dedicated circuit with correctly sized cable.
A site manager organises the job, and when we finish we vacuum the dust and put the furniture back. We also cover the surrounding areas: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

The REBT limits the number of sockets per circuit depending on its use. If a room is already at the limit, we run a new line from the consumer unit rather than overload the existing one.
04Can I have a socket for the washing machine or oven wherever I want?
Yes, but these appliances need their own circuit with the right cable size. We run it from the consumer unit to the point you choose.
