From ground floor to roof: how we work
In 1960s and 70s buildings in areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta, we often find old sheet-metal boiler flues and ducts that have worked loose or have rusted clamps. We dismantle them section by section from the ropes, lower them carefully and cap the fixings left in the façade.
Working on ropes in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni, we first fix brackets and clamps at regular intervals, then raise the sections from the bottom up, fitting and sealing each joint. The duct ends up straight, free of vibration and with no drips at the joints.

04What do you do with the old duct?
We dismantle it in sections from the ropes, lower it carefully and take it away, then make good the old fixing points on the façade.
