Before fitting the pump: what we measure
Many 1960s and 70s buildings in areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta still have rooftop tanks and old pump sets in the basement. We check the whole water route before deciding whether a new pump is enough or the installation needs rethinking.
On installations in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni we mount the pump on a base with anti-vibration pads and flexible connectors, so noise does not travel along the pipes. Isolation valves go on both sides, plus a non-return valve.

03Is a booster pump noisy?
A well-chosen unit on anti-vibration mounts, in a suitable space, can barely be heard inside the home. If your current pump is noisy, we also look at where it is.
04What happens in a power cut?
The pump stops and, depending on the installation, water either arrives at mains pressure or stops. When the power returns it restarts by itself, with no need to touch anything.
