Tile by tile: how we work
Bathrooms in areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic and La Barceloneta tend to be small and windowless, and there the tiles shape how the space feels. We suggest formats with fewer joints, light colours and a setting-out that keeps cut tiles off the wall you see as you walk in.
With large-format tiles, common in bathrooms in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni, we back-butter each piece with C2 adhesive and use levelling clips to avoid lipping between tiles. Before we start, we check the wall with a straightedge.
After the visit we send an itemised quote, with removal, preparation and tiling listed separately; a site manager coordinates the tiler and the plumber. We also work nearby: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Bathroom tiling in Barcelona: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Barcelona, in areas such as El Raval, El Barri Gòtic, La Barceloneta, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera, La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni, and also nearby: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat and Sant Cugat del Vallès. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can new tiles go over the old ones?
Sometimes, if the old tiles are firmly bonded and flat, using an adhesive for tile-on-tile. Bear in mind you lose a little space and the edges around doors and windows change.
03Do large-format tiles work in a small bathroom?
Yes, and they often help: fewer grout lines make the room feel bigger. They just need very flat walls and careful setting out of the cuts.
