Before we cut the first hole in the ceiling
1960s and 70s flats in areas such as Sants, Sants - Badal and Hostafrancs usually have a single light point in the middle of each room. We add new points from the existing junction box and check that the wiring can take the dimmers we plan to fit.
In kitchens and bathrooms in areas such as La Bordeta and La Font de la Guatlla we use neutral light of around 4000 K over work areas and warm light elsewhere. Under wall units the strip faces forward so it neither dazzles nor casts shadows on the worktop.
