In 1960s and 70s flats in areas such as Sants, Sants - Badal and Hostafrancs headroom is tighter, so we drop the ceiling as little as possible: just enough for ducting or downlights. Boards go up the stairs if they will not fit in the lift and are cut inside the flat.
For indirect light coves, a frequent request for living rooms in areas such as La Bordeta and La Font de la Guatlla, we conceal the LED strip and keep the driver accessible. Where there is a curtain recess, the frame is reinforced so the track does not pull on the ceiling.
