Before adding a socket: what we check
In 1960s and 70s flats in areas such as Sants, Sants - Badal and Hostafrancs, each bedroom often has a single socket and the living room runs on extension leads. We chase walls for new sockets within the hours set by the residents' association and clear the dust before stepping onto the landing.
If you would rather avoid building work, in flats in areas such as La Bordeta and La Font de la Guatlla we use existing conduit with spare room, or run the cable in surface trunking or a skirting channel. In plasterboard walls we fit dry-lining boxes that clamp to the board.
We have been wiring homes and businesses for more than 20 years, always with a visit first and a detailed written quote. We also travel to nearby areas: Eixample, Les Corts and Ciutat Vella.

Frequently asked questions
01Socket installation in Sants-Montjuïc: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sants-Montjuïc in areas such as Sants, Sants - Badal, Hostafrancs, La Bordeta, La Font de la Guatlla, El Poble-sec, La Marina de Port and La Marina del Prat Vermell, and also nearby: Eixample, Les Corts and Ciutat Vella.
02Can sockets be added without chasing the walls?
Yes. We can run the cable in surface trunking or use existing boxes and conduit. During the visit we show you which option looks neatest on each wall.
03How many sockets can go on one circuit?
The REBT limits the number of sockets per circuit depending on its use. If a room is already at the limit, we run a new line from the consumer unit rather than overload the existing one.
04Can I have a socket for the washing machine or oven wherever I want?
Yes, but these appliances need their own circuit with the right cable size. We run it from the consumer unit to the point you choose.
