How we plan a wardrobe interior
In areas such as Sants, Sants - Badal and Hostafrancs many 1960s and 70s flats have small bedrooms where a hinged door will not open fully. There we suggest sliding doors and bring the wardrobe in as panels, since assembled units will not get up narrow stairs or into small lifts.
Where there is no alcove, in homes in areas such as La Bordeta and La Font de la Guatlla we build a plasterboard partition on a stud frame to enclose the wardrobe up to the ceiling. We leave a route for the interior lighting and paint it to match the room.
