Heat pumps in flats and houses: what we assess locally
In flats in areas such as Sants, Sants - Badal and Hostafrancs, with cast-iron radiators and a gas boiler in the kitchen, we check whether those emitters can work at low temperature. Often it is enough to swap a few radiators for larger models or fan coils.
Where there is underfloor heating, as in many houses in areas such as La Bordeta and La Font de la Guatlla, we set the heating curve so the water leaves at just the right temperature. We balance the manifold circuits so every room heats evenly.
A site manager runs the installation from the visit and written quote to the final adjustment, and we show you how to programme the system. Nearby areas we also cover: Eixample, Les Corts and Ciutat Vella.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in Sants-Montjuïc: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sants-Montjuïc in areas such as Sants, Sants - Badal, Hostafrancs, La Bordeta, La Font de la Guatlla, El Poble-sec, La Marina de Port and La Marina del Prat Vermell, and also nearby: Eixample, Les Corts and Ciutat Vella.
02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
