What we check before taking out a bath
Areas such as Sants, Sants - Badal and Hostafrancs have plenty of narrow bathrooms in 1960s–70s buildings, with a wall-to-wall bath of 1.20 or 1.40 m. A made-to-measure tray fills exactly that space and frees up the entrance; if the lift is small, we use a cuttable tray or carry it up the stairs.
For homes in areas such as La Bordeta and La Font de la Guatlla we work with cuttable resin or mineral-composite trays in white, grey, stone or slate effect, trimmed to the bath recess and cut around pillars if needed. The screen can be fixed, sliding or hinged, with chrome, black or minimal profiles.
After the visit and written quote, a site manager runs the conversion from start to finish; at the end we take away the old bath and rubble and leave the bathroom clean. Nearby areas we also cover: Eixample, Les Corts and Ciutat Vella.

Frequently asked questions
01Bath-to-shower conversion in Sants-Montjuïc: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sants-Montjuïc in areas such as Sants, Sants - Badal, Hostafrancs, La Bordeta, La Font de la Guatlla, El Poble-sec, La Marina de Port and La Marina del Prat Vermell, and also nearby: Eixample, Les Corts and Ciutat Vella.
02Do all the bathroom tiles have to come off?
No. We remove the band of tiles around the bath and the panel at the front; the rest of the room stays if it is in good condition.
03Can the tray sit flush with the floor?
It depends on the height of the waste and the floor slab. On the visit we check whether a flush fit is possible or a low-profile tray on the floor is wiser.
04Which tray suits older people?
One with a very low edge, a non-slip surface and room for a grab rail or fold-down seat fixed to a solid wall.
