What we change in a living room before the furniture goes in
In areas such as El Clot and El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot many living rooms in older buildings face the street through a balcony and have high ceilings with cornices. We keep the cornices wherever possible and run new lighting through chases or a perimeter false ceiling that leaves them visible.
For TV walls in areas such as El Poblenou, El Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou and La Vila Olímpica del Poblenou we build a plasterboard lining with reinforcement for the bracket, niches for the equipment and conduit from the socket to the screen. No cable is left on show.
