New hinged or sliding doors, aligned and at the same height.
-
Seamless flooring
One floor from the entrance to the bedrooms, with no level changes.

Room for air ducts and cabling, with hatches for maintenance.
How we approach a long, dark hallway
We lower part of the ceiling with an accessible false ceiling to carry services and spread spotlights along the long, high-ceilinged hallway running from facade to light well in older buildings (typical of areas such as El Clot and El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot).
We use recesses and end walls for shallow made-to-measure cupboards, for linen or cleaning things, without narrowing the way through.
A site manager coordinates builder, electrician, joiner and painter; we protect floors and furniture in the rest of the home and leave everything clean. We also work in the surrounding areas: Ciutat Vella, Eixample and Sant Andreu.

Frequently asked questions
01Hallway renovation in Sant Martí: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sant Martí, in areas such as El Clot, El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot, El Poblenou, El Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou, La Vila Olímpica del Poblenou, Diagonal Mar i el Front Marítim del Poblenou, Provençals del Poblenou and Sant Martí de Provençals, and also nearby: Ciutat Vella, Eixample and Sant Andreu. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02How do you bring light into a windowless hallway?
With glazed doors or glass fanlights that borrow light from the rooms, pale walls, and spotlights or LED lines along its length.
03Can the hallway be reduced to enlarge the rooms?
Yes, where the partitions are not load-bearing. We study the layout and the route of the services, and show you how much space you gain before we start.
04Are sliding doors a good idea in a hallway?
They save space in narrow corridors. Pocket doors slide into the partition and leave the wall clear; surface-mounted ones need a stretch of free wall beside them.
