What we check on a façade before painting it
In early 20th-century buildings in areas such as El Clot and El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot, façades have mouldings, cornices and balconies with iron railings that need careful hand work. Where the street is narrow or a light well leaves no room for scaffolding, we work on ropes.
On façades in areas such as El Poblenou, El Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou and La Vila Olímpica del Poblenou we hand-finish mouldings, cornices, eaves and balcony edges, and sand and coat railings and grilles with anti-rust enamel. Large sections are rollered in two cross coats.
