Before the parquet boxes are opened: what we measure
In early 20th-century buildings in areas such as El Clot and El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot we often find encaustic tiles or old parquet on timber floors. We check what lies underneath, whether the original floor is worth keeping and how to level without overloading the structure.
