What a terrace enclosure includes
-
Survey of the opening
We measure width, height and supports to choose a system that copes with local wind.
-
Frameless glass curtain
Toughened glass panels with no vertical profiles that stack to one side.
-
Aluminium sliding system
Thermally broken profiles and double glazing if you want more insulation.
-
Roof for open terraces
Polycarbonate or panel roofing where the terrace has nothing overhead.
-
Fixing and sealing
Fixed to the slab or balustrade and sealed so water stays out.
-
Drained tracks
Water outlets and flashings so rain does not reach the terrace floor.
Before enclosing the terrace: what we check
In areas such as El Clot and El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot, many terraces and galleries face the street or the inner courtyard, and any enclosure changes how the building looks. So we propose a discreet system matching the existing window frames and present it to the residents' association before ordering.
The glass curtains we fit in areas such as El Poblenou, El Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou and La Vila Olímpica del Poblenou use toughened glass with no vertical profiles: panels slide and stack to one side, leaving the terrace almost open in summer. We adjust each panel so it closes with no play.
With over 20 years of home renovation, we explain which system suits your terrace and set it out in a written quote. We enclose terraces nearby too: Ciutat Vella, Eixample and Sant Andreu.

Frequently asked questions
01Terrace enclosure installation in Sant Martí: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sant Martí, in areas such as El Clot, El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot, El Poblenou, El Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou, La Vila Olímpica del Poblenou, Diagonal Mar i el Front Marítim del Poblenou, Provençals del Poblenou and Sant Martí de Provençals, and also nearby: Ciutat Vella, Eixample and Sant Andreu. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02What is the difference between a glass curtain and a sliding system?
A glass curtain has no vertical profiles and the whole thing folds to one side, so in summer the terrace is almost fully open. An aluminium sliding system closes more tightly and insulates more against cold and noise, but the profiles always remain visible.
03Will it stand up to wind on a penthouse or seafront terrace?
Yes, provided the system and glass thickness are chosen for that exposure. At the visit we assess height, orientation and supports, and factor them into the quote.
04Can a terrace with an existing balustrade be enclosed?
Yes. Depending on its condition, the enclosure is fixed on top of the balustrade or the balustrade is replaced by a low wall or bottom profile that acts as a base.
