Fitted wardrobes in Nou Barris: what we look at in the space
In older flats in areas such as Porta, Vilapicina i la Torre Llobeta and El Turó de la Peira high ceilings allow wardrobes with generous top cupboards, but walls are often out of plumb and corners out of square. We measure at several heights and close the gaps with trims cut on site.
On wardrobes we fit in areas such as La Prosperitat, Verdun and Les Roquetes we first level the carcass on the actual floor, not the skirting, and fix it to wall and ceiling. Only then do we hang the doors and adjust the tracks so they slide quietly.
More than 20 years building wardrobes helps us deal with awkward spaces; a site manager coordinates partition, fitting and lighting, and the quote is in writing. We also cover nearby areas: Horta-Guinardó, Sant Andreu and Montcada i Reixac.

Frequently asked questions
01Fitted wardrobe installation in Nou Barris: which areas do you cover?
We work in Nou Barris in areas such as Porta, Vilapicina i la Torre Llobeta, El Turó de la Peira, Can Peguera, La Prosperitat, Verdun, Les Roquetes and La Guineueta, and also nearby: Horta-Guinardó, Sant Andreu and Montcada i Reixac.
02Sliding or hinged doors?
Sliding doors need no room to open and suit tighter bedrooms. Hinged doors show the whole interior at once and blend more neatly into the wall.
03Can a fitted wardrobe go where there is no alcove?
Yes. We build the recess with a plasterboard partition or by closing off a corner, then fit the wardrobe inside. We plan it during the visit around the bedroom layout.
04How deep does a fitted wardrobe need to be?
Around 60 cm to hang clothes comfortably. With less depth, pull-out front rails work, or the wardrobe can be given over to shelving.
