Replacing a worktop in Les Corts, step by step
In buildings in areas such as Les Corts and La Maternitat i Sant Ramon, the noise and dust from cutting stone bother the neighbours. Whenever possible we bring the cut-outs ready made, do final adjustments with dust extraction and work within the community's hours.
For the worktops we fit in areas such as Pedralbes and Zona Universitària, the template is taken once the base units are level and with the sink, tap and hob models to hand. That way the cut-outs match each appliance exactly and nothing needs trimming on site.
A site manager coordinates removal, fitting and reconnection of plumbing and hob, and at the end we take the old worktop away and leave the kitchen clean. We also work nearby: Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Sants-Montjuïc and Eixample.

Frequently asked questions
01Kitchen worktop replacement in Les Corts: which areas do you cover?
We work in Les Corts in areas such as Les Corts, La Maternitat i Sant Ramon, Pedralbes and Zona Universitària, and also nearby: Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Sants-Montjuïc and Eixample.
02Can the worktop be replaced without changing the units?
Yes, if the units are level and in good condition. We check they can take the weight of the chosen material, especially stone or thick porcelain.
03Which material stands up to heat and knives?
Porcelain and granite handle heat and scratches well. Quartz is very hard-wearing, though it is wise not to put pans on it straight from the hob. During the visit we compare options with the way you cook.
04Does the tiled splashback have to change too?
Not always. If the new thickness leaves a visible strip, or tiles break when the old worktop comes off, we finish it with an upstand or splashback in the same material.
