Terrace enclosures in Les Corts: what we measure on the visit
In 1960s and 70s flats in areas such as Les Corts and La Maternitat i Sant Ramon, galleries are often enclosed with old aluminium that leaks and does not insulate. We remove it, check the slab edge and fit a new enclosure with level tracks and a proper seal.
On every terrace we enclose in areas such as Pedralbes and Zona Universitària, we measure width, height and plumb at several points, as floor slab and ceiling are rarely parallel. Tracks are packed level and anchored to the slab so the panels slide easily.
With over 20 years of home renovation, we explain which system suits your terrace and set it out in a written quote. We enclose terraces nearby too: Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Sants-Montjuïc and Eixample.

Frequently asked questions
01Terrace enclosure installation in Les Corts: which areas do you cover?
We work in Les Corts in areas such as Les Corts, La Maternitat i Sant Ramon, Pedralbes and Zona Universitària, and also nearby: Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Sants-Montjuïc and Eixample.
02What is the difference between a glass curtain and a sliding system?
A glass curtain has no vertical profiles and the whole thing folds to one side, so in summer the terrace is almost fully open. An aluminium sliding system closes more tightly and insulates more against cold and noise, but the profiles always remain visible.
03Will it stand up to wind on a penthouse or seafront terrace?
Yes, provided the system and glass thickness are chosen for that exposure. At the visit we assess height, orientation and supports, and factor them into the quote.
04Can a terrace with an existing balustrade be enclosed?
Yes. Depending on its condition, the enclosure is fixed on top of the balustrade or the balustrade is replaced by a low wall or bottom profile that acts as a base.
