Hair salons in Horta-Guinardó: what we check first
In areas such as El Baix Guinardó, El Guinardó and Can Baró it is common to take over a salon whose electrical supply was designed for another era and can't cope with several dryers at once. We review the contracted power and the board, and agree working hours with the residents' association to keep disruption low.
In salons in areas such as El Carmel and La Teixonera we run hot and cold water to each basin with its own isolation valve and a waste with an accessible trap, since hair is the main cause of blockages. We size the water heater or cylinder to the number of washes done back to back.
With over 20 years in renovation, we check pressure, wastes and circuits before handover and leave the salon clean and ready for clients. We work in the surrounding areas too: Gràcia, Nou Barris and Sant Andreu.

Frequently asked questions
01Hair salon renovation in Horta-Guinardó: which areas do you cover?
We work in Horta-Guinardó in areas such as El Baix Guinardó, El Guinardó, Can Baró, El Carmel, La Teixonera, Horta, La Clota and La Font d'en Fargues, and also nearby: Gràcia, Nou Barris and Sant Andreu.
02Where should the basins go?
Close to the soil stacks, so the drains have enough fall, and in a quiet part of the salon. At the visit we check the drainage route and how much hot water you will need.
03What lighting does a hair salon need?
Even general lighting and shadow-free light at the mirrors, with a high colour rendering index so hair colour looks exactly as it is.
04Which flooring holds up in a salon?
Porcelain tiles or commercial-grade vinyl: easy to sweep, water-resistant and not stained by dye. We avoid wide grout joints where hair collects.
