Fitting a dishwasher in Horta-Guinardó: what we check first
In areas such as El Baix Guinardó, El Guinardó and Can Baró there are many 1960s and 70s kitchens with no dishwasher space and a single circuit for every socket. We usually give up a base unit next to the sink and run a dedicated line from the consumer unit, cutting chases within the residents' association's hours.
In kitchens in areas such as El Carmel and La Teixonera we connect the waste to the sink trap through a spigot with a non-return valve and loop the hose up to the height the manufacturer specifies. That stops dirty water from the sink flowing back into the machine.
A site manager coordinates the plumber and electrician so everything is done in one go and the kitchen is left clean. First comes the visit and a written quote. We also work nearby: Gràcia, Nou Barris and Sant Andreu.

Frequently asked questions
01Dishwasher installation in Horta-Guinardó: which areas do you cover?
We work in Horta-Guinardó in areas such as El Baix Guinardó, El Guinardó, Can Baró, El Carmel, La Teixonera, Horta, La Clota and La Font d'en Fargues, and also nearby: Gràcia, Nou Barris and Sant Andreu.
02Can the dishwasher go far from the sink?
Yes, but the drain hose only reaches so far. If the space is further away, we extend the waste pipe inside the wall with the right fall.
0345 cm or 60 cm dishwasher?
A 60 cm machine holds more and a 45 cm one suits narrow kitchens. We measure the space and tell you which fits without losing a useful drawer unit.
04Do you fit the door panel on an integrated dishwasher?
Yes. We line the panel up with the neighbouring units and adjust the door springs so it opens and closes smoothly.
