What we change in a living room before the furniture goes in
In 1960s and 70s flats in areas such as La Vila de Gràcia and El Camp d'en Grassot i Gràcia Nova the living room is often closed off from the kitchen by a partition and has a single aerial socket. Before taking a wall down we check it is not load-bearing, and we tell the community of owners when the noisiest work is due.
