What we check before renovating a kitchen
Neighbourhoods like La Vila de Gràcia and El Camp d'en Grassot i Gràcia Nova have many 1960s and 70s flats with a separate kitchen, a utility gallery and a gas water heater. When renovating these kitchens we often bring the gallery into the kitchen, remove the gas and run a dedicated line for an induction hob.
For kitchens in areas such as La Salut, El Coll and Vallcarca i els Penitents we measure again after tiling and before ordering the units, because older walls are rarely square. The worktop is templated and cut to size once the base units are in place.
After the visit you get a written quote with every item listed; during the work we protect the rest of the home and leave it clean at the end. We also renovate kitchens nearby: Eixample, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi and Horta-Guinardó.

Frequently asked questions
01Complete kitchen renovation in Gràcia: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Gràcia, in areas such as La Vila de Gràcia, El Camp d'en Grassot i Gràcia Nova, La Salut, El Coll and Vallcarca i els Penitents, and also nearby: Eixample, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi and Horta-Guinardó. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can the kitchen be moved to another part of the home?
Often, yes. The waste pipe decides it: it needs a fall to the soil stack and, over a long distance, the floor has to be raised. We check this during the visit.
03Who designs the new layout?
We start from your measurements and the way you cook. We propose where the sink, hob and fridge go, and set it out in the quote before work begins.
04Can I switch from gas to an induction hob?
Yes. We cap the gas point in the kitchen and run a dedicated electrical line for the hob, sized to the REBT and your contracted power.
