How we make a bedroom quieter
In areas such as La Vila de Gràcia and El Camp d'en Grassot i Gràcia Nova bedrooms in older flats often have high ceilings and walls with several coats of paint or a textured finish. We use the height for high cupboards above the wardrobe and smooth the walls before painting.
The wardrobe is designed for the exact recess: in bedrooms in areas such as La Salut, El Coll and Vallcarca i els Penitents we measure walls, ceiling and floor, which in older homes are rarely square. Inside we plan rails, drawers and shelves around whoever will use it.
A site manager coordinates the electrician, painter, joiner and floor fitter so the trades do not get in each other's way. We also renovate bedrooms in the surrounding areas: Eixample, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi and Horta-Guinardó.

Frequently asked questions
01Bedroom renovation in Gràcia: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Gràcia, in areas such as La Vila de Gràcia, El Camp d'en Grassot i Gràcia Nova, La Salut, El Coll and Vallcarca i els Penitents, and also nearby: Eixample, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi and Horta-Guinardó. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can a bathroom be added inside the bedroom?
If there is space and a soil stack nearby, yes. During the visit we check where the waste pipes can run and whether there is enough fall before suggesting it.
03Fitted wardrobe or open walk-in closet?
It depends on the size and shape of the room. A fitted wardrobe uses awkward recesses and keeps dust out; a walk-in closet needs more space but is easier to organise. We show you both options on the plan.
