From ground floor to roof: how we work
On narrow streets in areas such as La Vila de Gràcia and El Camp d'en Grassot i Gràcia Nova, scaffolding would take over the pavement and get in the way of residents and traffic. So we install the duct in sections hung from the roof, with the work area marked off below and hours agreed with the building.
In areas such as La Salut, El Coll and Vallcarca i els Penitents we finish the outlet with a cowl above the roof, away from windows and air intakes. Where the duct passes through a wall or slab we fit a sleeve and a seal rated for the duct's temperature.
