In older buildings in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample and L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample we still find cloth-covered cables, joints buried in plaster and flats with no earth at all. We also check the supply cable from the building's meter room, as it often limits how much power the flat can draw.
