Pigeons on the façade in the Eixample: where they settle and how we stop them
In older buildings, façades have cornices, corbels, mouldings and enclosed balconies where pigeons perch under cover. We fit spikes along the lines of the stone or render, with discreet fixings that leave the building's look unchanged (common in La Dreta de l'Eixample and L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample).
For spikes, we measure the width of each cornice or ledge and choose strips with one, two or three rows. We bond or screw them according to the material, so there is no gap left where a pigeon could land again.
