Sanitaryware in the Eixample: what we find when we take it out
In older buildings in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample and L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample, removing the toilet often reveals a lead pan connector or a floor outlet into a cast iron stack. We join it with suitable transition fittings and, if the stack is shared, we do not touch it without first talking to the residents' association.
