Parquet in the Eixample: the bases we usually find
In early 20th-century buildings in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample and L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample we often find encaustic tiles or old parquet on timber floors. We check what lies underneath, whether the original floor is worth keeping and how to level without overloading the structure.
