Fitting a kitchen in the Eixample: what we check first
In older buildings in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample and L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample kitchen walls are usually solid brick or thin hollow-tile partitions, and each needs a different fixing for wall units. We check before hanging anything, and carry assembled units up the stairs if the lift is small.
In areas such as La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni we hang wall units on a continuous metal rail or adjustable hangers, depending on load and wall type. That way they adjust for height and depth and line up even on an uneven wall.
More than 20 years fitting kitchens means we spot problems on the visit; the quote comes in writing and a site manager coordinates fitter, plumber and electrician. We also cover nearby areas: Gràcia, Sant Martí and Ciutat Vella.
