Bathroom furniture in the Eixample: walls, pipework and space
In older flats in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample and L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample, bathrooms are narrow and many walls are thin brick partitions. For a wall-hung unit we use purpose-made plugs or a hidden reinforcement, and choose shallow units so the bathroom door still opens freely.
When we fit a unit with drawers in areas such as La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni, we use a slimline or offset trap so the top drawer is cut back as little as possible. We seal the basin to the unit and the wall with sanitary silicone and test the waste at full flow.
Over 20 years of bathroom renovation means we can tell on the visit whether the wall and pipework will do. Detailed written quote, and a clean bathroom when we finish. We also work nearby: Gràcia, Sant Martí and Ciutat Vella.

Frequently asked questions
01Bathroom furniture installation in the Eixample: which areas do you cover?
We work in the Eixample in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample, L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample, La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample, Sant Antoni, La Sagrada Família and El Fort Pienc, and also nearby: Gràcia, Sant Martí and Ciutat Vella.
02Will you fit furniture bought elsewhere?
Yes. We fit the unit you have chosen and, if you send us the model beforehand, we check it works with the water and waste outlets.
03Wall-hung or floor-standing?
Wall-hung keeps the floor clear and feels more spacious, but needs a solid wall. With weak partitions it is wiser to reinforce or pick a unit on legs.
04Can a socket go next to the mirror?
Yes, provided it respects the bathroom safety zones set by the REBT and has the right protection. We assess it on the visit.
