LED lighting in the Eixample: how we plan each room
In older buildings in areas such as La Dreta de l'Eixample and L'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample, high ceilings with mouldings are left untouched: in living rooms and bedrooms we use tracks, surface spots or indirect light above the cornice, keeping recessed fittings for the hallway, kitchen or bathroom false ceiling.
For LED strips in flats and houses in areas such as La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample and Sant Antoni we use aluminium profiles with an opal diffuser and feed long runs from both ends, so the light does not fade towards the end of the line.
A site manager coordinates the electrician and the plasterboard fitter when the ceiling has to be opened, and we clear dust and packaging at the end. We also work nearby: Gràcia, Sant Martí and Ciutat Vella.
